For use with Re:source Visibility or as a stand-alone Web service, Re:source Lifecycle Management (LCM) is a powerful online product directory that identifies part descriptions and attributes, together with the commercial relationships that affect the sale and servicing of these products.
The secure Re:source LCM module incorporates an intelligent data model that simplifies the collection and management of critical product information online. The solution is ideal for manufacturers, carriers and others responsible for delivering multi-vendor infrastructure services and requiring knowledge on a wide variety of products to be provisioned and supported.
Comprehensive mutli-vendor data management tools create a streamlined and repeatable supply chain process that aggregates information into a centralized global database from internal inventories, partners, outsourced service providers, competitors and the open market.
Managing master product data at this level creates new opportunities to capitalize on planning, consolidation and reselling opportunities for high-value or hard-to-find multi-vendor material.
Sophisticated controls facilitate access to and management of product lifecycle data through an intuitive Web-based user interface, including:
- Security controls for user system access and authorization;
- Traceable Add, Modify and Delete functions that enable users to quickly update product records and attributes;
- Batch-, product- and attribute-level management of captured data elements;
- Data export based on specific fields or user-defined queries;
- Service modules to “push” and “pull” data between disparate inventory and service resource management systems; and
- Built-in reporting and analytics.
Unlike OSS inventory products, which are deployed on servers within the Carrier's network and are not accessible to vendors/OEMs, Trade Wings’ applications are hosted and accessible to vendors directly for data input. Audit controls enable users to verify and approve data to ensure part definition accuracy.
